Pizza Hut will open four new stores in the next month, as part of its Australian expansion push.

The new stores will open at Deer Park and Tarniet in Victoria, Everton Park in Queensland, and Emu Plains in NSW, taking its total number of stores in Australia and New Zealand to 367.

The company has also opened new stores at Frankston in Victoria, Wagga Wagga in NSW, and in the Perth CBD.

So far this year, Pizza Hut has opened 11 stores with 11 more planned before Christmas.

Andy Masood, head of development and supply chain at Pizza Hut, said Pizza Hut is determined to continue expanding and growing its presence within the Australian market.

The new Pizza Hut stores are owned by first time franchisees.

Each store will employ around 15 staff each with the franchisees heavily involved in the day to day activities.

They closed the Sandy Bay Store in Tasmania a few years ago, leaving no pizza hut in the city or southern suburbs...Lucky we have some really nice wood fired pizza places near by...might be more expensive but worth it.
