Harvey Norman goes mobile

Harvey Norman has launched its first ever mobile friendly version of their Australian website.

The new site features an online store, product pages, including buying guides, deals, and user product reviews as well as store directory.

Harvey Norman, digital GM, Gary Wheelhouse said the access anywhere use is what makes the mobile website such a valuable tool for shopping.

“Researching a product often takes place on the fly, and not necessary when you are sitting in front of your computer”, Wheelhouse said.

“With our new mobile site users can find anything from big screen TVs to coffee machines from wherever they happen to be,” he added.

The mobile site can be used by customers in store, with the retail chain aiming to integrate the customer experience across all channels.

“While customers are in our stores, they can scan QR codes on any given product price ticket in store, revealing all the key product features and specs, read customer reviews, or even check a detailed buying guide.”

The Harvey Norman mobile website works on Android and Apple iOS devices and links to the groups' two other major brands, Domayne, and Joyce Mayne.
