Lotte plans duty free stores in Indonesia

Korean retail giant Lotte plans to open two new duty free stores in Indonesia.

The stores are planned for Soekarno-Hatta International Airport’s Terminal 3 and Bali Ngurah Rai Airport.

The two new stores will complement Lotte Duty Free’s shops at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Terminal 2, which offer perfumes and cosmetics, liquor and tobacco and souvenirs, bags, accessories and gifts and standalone branded boutiques from the likes of Montblanc, Longchamp, MCM and Tumi.

“Indonesia is one of Lotte Duty Free’s main destinations outside South Korea. Soekarno-Hatta is always busy with travellers,” said Lotte Duty Free president director Kim Tae-ho.

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport served 60.13 million passengers last year.
