Luxury shoe maker John Lobb has partnered with Regalia Luxury to enter India.

The partners plan to open exclusive stores to sell handmade-to-measure shoes.

John Lobb is owned by French luxury house Hermes.

Having found the right partner, the company feels it is the right time to expand to India.

“India can still be considered as a relatively young market but definitely not as an emerging market like the others.This is why we aim to target the Indian clients with a dedicated strategy through our ‘by request’ offer,” said John Lobb commercial director for Europe, Middle East and India, Thomas Collette.

“We believe there is a visible gap for a specialised provider of hand crafted fine leather shoes and accessories,” he said.
